Hello Darilek,

Your time in service allows you to choose from the MGIB Ch. 30 or the Post 9/11 Bill. But, before you make the choice of applying for the Post 9/11. Go online and apply for the MGIB Ch.30 one first. By doing so, if you decide later that the MGIB is not right for you, you can apply for the Post 9/11. Remember that you can only go up and not down. Once you choose to use the Post 9/11 than your stuck with it.

I was not drafted during the Vietnam conflict, and I have always had mixed feelings for that reason. That said, speaking as a citizen, we cannot give enough to those who honorably served our country. I am in favor of seeing them through graduate school as well as expanded, high quality healthcare.

Thanks and God Bless.
