5 Enlistment Bonuses Worth Trying to Get in the Army

Enlistment Bonuses Enlistment bonuses are offered by the Army as a monetary incentive for qualified individuals enlisting in the active Armed Forces. Eligibility is based on the MOS or Military Occupational Specialty that you choose, as well as your length of enlistment, previous military service and your education or skills.

5 – Enlisting for three years or more in any MOS will make most soldiers eligible for at least $5,000 dollars.

4 – Enlisting for four years or more may offer soldiers a combined bonus of as much as $20,000 dollars.

3 – Enlisting for three years or more in a high priority MOS may offer soldiers a combined bonus of as high as $20,000 dollars.

2 – Enlisting for three or more years in a priority MOS may offer soldiers bonuses of as much as $10,000 dollars.

1 – Enlisting for two years can offer soldiers bonuses of as much as $6,000 dollars.
