3 Requirements for Becoming a Navy Seal

military title image

us-navy-special-operations-seal-teamThere are specific requirements that are associated with becoming a Navy Seal. Knowing and living these requirements is absolutely vital if you want to dedicate your life to the Navy Seals. Here is a look at three of the requirements that you need to meet if you want to join the Navy Seals.

1 – Seal team applicants absolutely must be United States citizens, and nobody who is not a United States citizen will be admitted into the Navy Seals at any point

2 – Seal team applicants absolutely must be males aged 28 years or younger, so applicants who are older than 28 years of age or that are female will not be allowed into the Navy Seals

3 – Seal team applicants must absolutely have eyesight that is no worse than 20/40 in one eye and then 20/70 in the other eye, and their eyesight must be capable of being corrected to 20/20 vision without sustaining any colorblindness. Eyesight that is worse than the guidelines mentioned here will not allow a Seal applicant to be approved because good eyesight is vital when it comes to Navy Seals.

For those who want to become a Navy Seal.
I have many friends that were Seals and are now in an inactive status.
Since you want to be a Seal, 1st. Get your **** together. What I mean is this, pull you head out of your ***, it’s very hard demanding and rough work.
It’s not as glorious as you may think, but very rewarding.
You better, and I mean better get out and start RUNNING.
Upon attending BUDS school, you thinking must be, No Matter What, I can do this and it’s mind over matter, if you do not mind the pain and physical abuse then it does not matter what they do to you,
This is not a game and it’s a very serious work.
Think twice about this position and work toward it.

Jim. thanks for sharing what it takes to make the teams, but anyone that that requires that sort of basic speech to doesn’t have what it takes to be a SEAL and never will. Coming from an old Delta Ranger, making the teams in any special forces arena is not about pain and physical abuse. It’s about the aptitude for becoming a worthy asset as a team member. We don’t deploy super-heroes and they’re never weclome on any SF team, so before you get you pass all of Jim’s requirements you’d better first decide if you have what we actually need. We could care less about how fast you can run, but here’s a strong hint; If your level of insight is aimed at making the team, you’ll never make it. It’s not about arriving at a destination. That’s a fact.

The dream is not for the dreamer.

Navy SEALs are the bomb
My father was a SEAL and now I want to be one to and what he always tells me is to go for a run then a long swim and then a longer run and push myself as hard as I can. He says running and swimming are the biggest things to get ready for BUD/S and also don’t eat shit mtn dew and dounuts do not help Gatorade water and carbs are very important.
Right now I’m 14 and already preparing myself.
