The best chance to go to BUD/S is to forgive all your A school rights and go straight to BUD/S out of basic training. Down side is if you do not graduate BUD/S, you will go wherever the Navy sends you. Then again, that's a great motivator not to quit during BUD/S. Also, find out who your Navy Seal recruiter is in your area. He may be able to give you some basic tests to determine if becoming a Navy Seal is even possible for you. One thing is for certain, BUD/S is not for everyone. In fact, only a very slight few.

I know that you have to be in the Navy for some time before you get the chance to try out for BUD/s (save for the SEAL challenge contract), so my question is what are good jobs to start at before trying out? the type of person i am, i would be an 11B (infantry) if i were to go army, so im thinking Master at Arms then SEALs??

No women may apply to become Navy Seals. These Navy jobs are for men only, and only men who are 28 years old or younger.
