3 Great United States Navy Careers

ereligion_intropicIt is an honor to serve in the United States Navy. There are several enlisted careers that you can pursue while serving in the United States Navy. Take a look at three of the careers available to you while serving your country in the Navy:

Finance and Accounting – you will be responsible for processing payroll, track and maintain inventory, handle cash sales and transactions and run the Navy Post Office. Much of your training in this field qualifies for college credit.


Religion – Sailors in this specialty provide support to Navy Chaplains. You may maintain records, maintain the religious facility and provide help with literature and audiovisual displays and presentations. Again, college credit can be earned for this training.


Human Resources – In HR, you will help research and advise other sailors fulfill their best career potentials. You may provide counseling to prospective applicants and conduct interviews to determine assignment recommendations. Credit hours in college are awarded for your training.
