There are countless reasons why civilians opt for US Military jobs, and they’re not only for the good pay and benefits, but the variety and nature of the many civilian job opportunities themselves.   So, if you wish to make your civilian qualifications, skills and experience pay rich dividends, check if any of these 4 civilian-oriented jobs match your credentials, and are reason enough to join the US Military. Perhaps, you’ll find they are.   1. Shoot images for posterity – Photographer   There are several events and occasions when the services of experienced Photographer are invaluable. Whether it is for parades, social get-togethers between force members and their families, graduation days, or even for more serious work, such as intelligence gathering or shooting in a war theatre, the images that photographers capture are not only vital for posterity, they also contribute in no small way to the military’s success   2. Promote a fit fighting force – Nutritionist   To keep force members of every rank in the fittest and healthiest condition, Nutritionists and Dieticians have a significant role to play. They are usually responsible for creating healthy diet plans, ensuring quality of food and nutritional value of items supplied to the military, and ensuring that food served in military canteens and hospitals is of acceptable quality and nutritional standards.     3. Motivate force members – Counselor/Social worker   Counselors and Social Workers promote and maintain high morale among force members and contribute significantly to the military by keeping members motivated at all times. New recruits and other active-duty, force members who face social dilemmas, or other problems, receive expert counseling to face any challenges during their terms of duty.   4. I have almost completed my degree in nutrition and I am a certified personal trainer. I am interested in working for the Military and getting a job as an dietitian. Is there a protocal to follow? How do I begin?
