I really want to join the navy as a linguist and I’m currently going to college studying foreign language, but I’m concerned that my juvenile record may cause me problems getting into that position. I was in trouble when I was 15, served time and never been in trouble since. I won’t be joining the military until I’m about 26 or 27 years old so what do you think? Do you think I will have problems getting a clearance to do that job?
