The United States Coast Guard does not have a ROTC program like the other branches of the United States Military. What they have instead is the Coast Guard Student Reserve. Working as a Coast Guard Student Reservist allows you to go to school while still earning military pay and working towards greater ranking once they are done with training.
Requirements
Those looking to enroll will need to be at least 17 and under 28. The program is open to all who are high school seniors, enrolled in college or a vocational school. You will need to report to train for two summers and serve one weekend a month over the course of the school year. Once your training is complete, you will be obligated to begin Reserve Duty in the Coast Guard.

This can be accomplished through your weekend pay once a month or through tuition programs which are available for active members of the Coast Guard. You will also be working towards a greater rank than if you would have enlisted directly into the Coast Guard.
