The United States Air Force employs the help of a lot of different people. Jobs include everything from road crews to patch potholes to specialists whose job it is to design the computer systems which are used in space exploration and defense. All of these different sectors of the US Air Force require materials to be delivered and stockpiled correctly for them to be able to do their jobs correctly. It is the job of the US Air Force Material Management Apprentice to make sure that the materials they need will be in stock.

What You Will Do

You will oversee all shipments as they are processed into your unit as well as help to make sure that materials which are set to be shipped out go to the right place and at the right time. You will make sure that the materials you are receiving are what they are supposed to be as well as making sure that they are in the right condition to maximize effectiveness. You will then make sure that all materials are warehoused in the right places for easy access when it is time to retrieve them.
