It is good to know that an elite team, such as the Navy SEALS, can carry out top secret missions with precision and efficiency. Even though Osama bin Laden had been on the run for more than 10 years, the SEALS were confident that they could kill him off – if the right opportunity came about.
During a 40 minute fight with enemy forces, the SEALS moved in on bin Laden. During this time, a member of the team killed bin Laden with a shot to the left side of his face.
But their job was not done yet – they next made sure that they got their man. Shortly after the fight, DNA tests confirmed with 99.99 percent confidence that bin Laden had been killed.
To make this occasion even more joyous, no Americans were injured or killed during the raid. Along with this, the SEALS got in and out without running into Pakistani authorities – a feat in its own right. One United States official said, “weren’t detected coming in and going out. Even the helicopter crashed, and we blew it up.”
You do not have to become a Navy SEAL to do your part. Once you join the Navy you will be working, day after day, to keep your country safe. All the while you will be learning on the job, and receiving training from the top professionals in your industry.
This story may make you realize that a career in the Navy, maybe even as a SEAL, is a great idea. No doubt, becoming a Navy Seal will change your life forever!
