US Army Seeks Anthropologists for Assistance

US Military Seeks AnthropologistsIt is believed that the US Army has taken a positive turn while fighting the Iraqi War. This is because the US Army recently sought out to bring anthropologists into the streets of Iraq in an attempt for the Army soldiers to understand the cultures of the Iraqi people. This move by the US Army has been a positive one, as it is to not only bring awareness, but to also provide an assistant for the language barriers. The anthropologists will also act as a translator, which can ease the communications between the US Army soldiers and the Iraqi civilians. It has been said to believe that perhaps the most difficult part of incorporating the anthropologists for their assistance will be as to whether or not the Iraqi people will have faith in the anthropologists. Since the US Army has sought out anthropologists that are culturally aware of the customs that the Iraqis have, as well as sought the assistance from anthropologists that are typically Iraqis themselves, the military knows that they can gain the trust of the Iraqi civilians, and move ahead with assistance that they may need. The program has not only been successful in the testing fields, but it is also growing at a very rapid rate, which has appealed greatly to the US Army. This means that the tasks that they need to take care of will be accomplished, and that the US military can move on to their next agenda.
