The US Army Program Pays $8.8 Million for iRobots

The US Army Program Pays $8.8 Million for iRobots Recently, the US Army program paid approximately $8.8 million dollars to the iRobot company for 40 of the robots that they produce. The importance of these robots on the battle fields is important, as the robots can save the lives of many of our service members.

The iRobots are known for moving into tactical fields that the US Military may not want to move into. The robots are deployed into the unknown territory, and will then set off any trap wires that may be attached to a dirty bomb. This is important, as these maneuvers that the robots can create will be much more precise and effective than the maneuvers that the US Army can make. That being said, the robots can also save the lives of our service members, as they can test the robots out first and then move into the territory. The iRobots are also beneficial for surveillance and reconnaissance in tough locations. This feeds that are relayed back to the US troops are beneficial, and can be used for their next tactical moves. They can also be used for bomb identification, similar to how the surveillance will operate. In addition to the robots that were ordered, the US Army also asked for additional supplies and back up pieces for the robots for additional defense.
