This is a concerted effort to rid the region of insurgent cells, insurgent leaders and to decimate and destroy their support structure. “But this time it will be a Iraqi operation, Iraqi led 100 percent,” said Colonel Caraccilo. “They are ready to take the lead, and have earned their chance, they will do an excellent job,” stated Colonel Caraccilo.
