Republican Senator John McCain Claims that US Troops are Still Needed

Republican Senator John McCain Claims that US Troops are Still Needed According to Senator McCain, the recognizance that the US military has offered thus far has been superior, and is still needed to maintain the effects of the military’s presence in the area. According to Senator McCain, should he win presidency, he will not pull out the troops in Iraq and other countries, but instead will surge the area with additional troops, which has proven to be effective thus far for the Bush administration.

Should Senator McCain become president in our next election, he would like to see the numbers of the troop presence rise from the current 750,000 troop members to approximately 900,000 members, a rise that has not been seen since the recent surge by President Bush. This type of surge will also prove to be beneficial, according to Senator McCain, who states that although military combative action is not “preferred” that it is still the option of the United States, and may be deemed as necessary to maintain our defense systems.

Currently, there are well over 500,000 troops that are deployed in the Iraq area and surrounding territories. Senator McCain is pleased to see this amount of insurgence, adding that it is due time that the world knows that the American people are a patient kind, but will not be intimidated by enemy forces.
