HEO - Heavy Equipment Operator [in the Army] pretty much involves operation of the M1070 Tractor-trailer - the Army's largest vehicle, designed to haul tanks & bradley's. But since I worked as an HEO, i was deployed to Iraq on 3 different rotations hauling not only tanks & bradley's, but also connexes, engineering equipment, battle damaged vehicles / equipment, and sometimes just regular civilian vehicle's. Or we sometimes piggy-backed another HET or HET trailer if it was rendered unserviceable. Hope this helps give you an idea.

I am an intermediate trackhoe/exacavator, dozer, and crane operator. wondering if i enlisted as an HEO if thats actually what i would be doing? I dont want to enlist and end up doing something else. I am 24 years old and live in Oklahoma.
