This is a standard that is often given to many troops on an annual basis. There are many people that are happy to supply goods, such as socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and more, to troops that are deployed away from home. Many people enjoy donating these goods, as it helps the troops remind them that they all have a fond place in the hearts of many Americans. In some instances, the donations are tax deductible, especially those that are going to a charity. Many people are eager to look forward to the holidays as it is a time to spend with friends and family, but those that are deployed overseas will not be able to receive such things as they are thousands of miles away from home. They can, however, feel as though they are getting closer to home with the care packages that are received.
Many people may not be sure where to drop off their donations. There are charities that offer their services for the donations at local stores, as well as through their charity offices. Grocery stores often also carry food drives to gather the snack goods needed to supply a military troop. Clothing stores may ask for monetary donations that they will then in turn create for the various troop donations. The holidays can bring soldiers that are away from home closer to the states with the numerous donations that are given.

Hi,
I had a company that produced Jazz and Holiday CDs for a few years. I have 100s of seated CDs. Is this something I can donate to the troops.
Thanks
