The popcorn is a popular favorite among the troop members, as they can eat it, and there are no worries about the popcorn going bad. Boy scouts all around the country are also taking part in this effort, and have asked people to purchase the bags of popcorn in the soldier’s honors, so that they can all receive the various amounts of popcorn. There are many that still need to be sold, but there have already been several hundred bags that have been sold. This will feed several groups of troops, all of which are sure to enjoy the popcorn.
Many troop members in the past have also received the Boy Scout assorted nuts in the mail, all of which are of benefit and greatly appreciated by the US troops. Many troop members will state that the foods that are sent to them are great appreciations that there are many people who are still back home supporting them, which gives them a great boost in their overall morale. There is also the sense in knowing that there are care packages that are created just for the soldiers every day. The support that many of the US soldiers receive is overwhelming, but all heartwarming at the same time. The Bellingham Boy Scouts count on the donations of those in the community to help them deliver the popcorn to the troops.
