The recent indictment from the General has also placed a hold on the upcoming elections, which can be costly to the government of Pakistan, which also has irreparable effects on the militaries that may be affected by such actions in the future. The civil unrest in the country is also dangerous, as many of the Pakistan people have found that they dislike General Musharraf as a president, and they want to have an election as previously planned.
