Dover Air Force Base Opens New Air Port

Dover Air Force Base Opens New Air PortDover Air Force Base, which has been one of the main hubbubs for much military activity, has recently opened up a new air port, which has been essential to the aerial communications and tactical moves as dictated by the military. This is also important as it will allow for the additional flights into and out of the Air Force base, which is often needed for the protection of the base, as well as for the moving the planes from one location to another.

The Air Force base, which is housed in Delaware, is now home to the 350,000 square foot air port, which will also house a lot of the military defense systems, such as jets, which are always needed for flight use out of the military base. The project, which cost close to $80 million dollars, is only in Phase 1 at the moment, but is expected to make a substantial move forward in the very near future, as there is the need for additional space in the Air Force Base. This will also assist with the cargo that comes into and out of the Air Force base, which can now be protected by the new air port wing. More so, there will be an increase  in the benefits of the Air Force as a whole, as it is now going to be exploring additional inventory to the base, as well as sending out the surplus inventory that is not needed. This is expected to be a monumental move and advancement for the Dover Air Force Base.
