		<description>My uncle who was in the 6th Ranger Battalion- and involved in the retaking of the Philippines- and at Leyte- along with serving in Japan as an occupation force after VJ day- gave me all his war mementos before he died several years ago..One of the things was a Japanese flag with many of the fellows in his units signature (and hometowns) on it... Some are pretty faded and hard to read....Also he gave me a Japanese 7.7 rifle, bayonet, and samuri sword that he said the Rangers found cases of in Japan- and were told they could bring home for souveniers.. His name was Lee Britzman from Glasgow Montana...</description>
