Air Force Band Plays for Troops in War Areas

Air Force Band Plays for Troops in War AreasThis year is no exception, as the Air Force band will be making their rounds to the various troops and bases that are located overseas in the hopes of spreading holiday cheer. Many of the troops look forward to hearing the Band of the Air Force Reserve play some of their favorite holiday songs. Although many of the troops can not be home for the holiday’s, it is often very important that they still feel as though there is a piece of home that is with them when they hear the band perform.

There is an expected 80 performers in the Air Force band, as well as a few surprise entertainers, that will be available for the troops to help spread the holiday cheer. It is said that they will be performing for a period of two weeks at the holiday season, which is sure to make many of the troops warm-hearted. Many of the soldiers will also be happy to hear that the cheerleaders from the New England Patriots will also be on hand to spread warm holiday cheer with the Air Force band. In recent years, the band has been known to boost the morale of the soldier’s even while they were in battle. Many of the troops are pleased to hear the music, as they state that hearing the music also helps to break the same old routines that they are used to with their daily lives in the military.
