Trained Military Working Dogs Contribute To Efforts Working in Iraq with military canines is an activity takes a certain kind of devotion. That is the kind of devotion shown by Technical Sergeant Patrick Carroll. Sergeant Carroll works with his dog Charlie on a daily basis, working to simulate different situations and enemy configurations. Charlie responds to a mere single command taking actions that he has learned in repeated training scenes, working to become every inch the professional Dog soldier that he is. “Everything that Charlie participates in he sees as a form of a game,” said Air Force TSgt Carroll. Sgt Carroll is a dog handler with the 732nd Expeditionary Security Force Squadron, and works closely with his dog performing a number of duties and training forays. “Even when Charlie finds something really major, to him its still a big game, but he does it with enthusiasm and the same intensity every time. I work to praise and reward him, which takes care of the motivation for Charlie,” said Sgt. Carroll. Find the Military Career right for YOU ! Click here for more Information.
