Troops Assist Using Micro Grant Funds
The Coalition has used the micro Grant process to aid a number of different businesses in the Kalsu region, but one of the more rewarding examples is the case of a mill owner that received a grant on May 16th. Because of a lot of battles and damage from insurgent action, the mill has been inoperative. The grant will allow the mill to begin operations soon, and it is with a sense of excitement that the mill owner received the funds from ePRT and state department officials.
“We have had to stay close to our home, and some days could not go outside because of terrorist snipers in the area,†said Thamer Hussain Kashkool. Mr. Kashkool is the owner of the mill, and is excited about getting back to work. The insurgents even stole the motor from the mill making the mill totally in operational.
Now that the insurgents and terrorists have been driven out of the area, the mill, its owner and the area are excited about getting the mill back into operation. This mill is agricultural, and is used to create animal feed. There are a number of farms waiting on 30, 000 chicks, but without a way to feed the animals they are not going to be delivered.

Restarting the mill will allow farmers to purchase feed from the mill, or from locally produced agricultural locations that pay to have the mill grind the feed.
