A Singer Receives Inspiration from VeteransVeterans are often honored time and again through music, all of which are known to be songs of patriotism and an appreciation for all that Veterans will do while they are in the military. Due to this, there is a singer, Trish Lester, who has created a song called, “Thank a Soldier”. This song was inspired from a poem that was sent through the internet, that Trish happened to come across, making her want to change the poem into a song. Trish’s song, “Thank a Soldier” was recorded onto her cd that was released in May of this year, titled “Plymouth Belvedere”. The song has been burning up many of the music stations all around the country, with more and more people hearing the song, and appreciating the words that were written in the song. Ms. Lester has also been stated that she felt as though it was due time to create a new patriotic song for the American people, which many have come to agree with. Ms. Lester has been pleased to see the reaction to her song, which she knows that so many others have also loved the appreciation for the Veterans, as told through the song. As long as there is a love for “Thank a Soldier”, the song will thrive on.
