Presidential Candidate Requests for a Push of Military Troops

Presidential Candidate Requests for a Push of Military TroopsFred Thompson, a Republican presidential candidate, is hoping to request over a million more troops to join the ranks of the military, as well as add additional funding for all military expenses. This is a move that many of the Republican candidates are hoping for, should they become the next president of our country. This is because many of the Republicans feel as though there is a strong shortage for military funding as well as troops, when there needs to be much more reinforcement in these areas.

Many Republicans are hoping that there will be some amounts of representation for the military that will be available should a Republican candidate make it into the White House, as is their wish. More so, there will more than likely be a form of governmental support that will be present in the next Republican candidate that will take the president’s seat. The amount of money and troops that he is asking for does not seem extravagant at all to him, as he wishes that there could be even more troops that are placed into the land. Currently, Senator Fred Thompson is in a close race for the presidential hopeful against other Republicans, such as Rudy Giuliani and Gov. Mitt Romney. Fred Thomspon has claimed that the American government has been too demanding on the US military for too long, which will wear the current troops thin. Having more people on the fields is said to being about fatigue for the US military troops.
