Operational Army- The operational Army is the functional arm of the United States Army. The operational Army is made up of battalions, brigades, divisions, corps, and numbered Armies. They conduct operations and full spectrum missions in Army facilities around the world. The operational Army consists of both the Active duty Army, and the Army National Guard, and the Army Reserves.
