Citizen Lives Touched By Coalition Servicemen And Women Members of the Air Force deploy to different foreign countries for months or years at a time, and they often do not get a chance to meet and interact with the people who they are tasked to protect. They wind up flying overhead, and they are hundreds of miles from the conflict at the end of the day, or they are safe and snug inside their military compound. Either way they often do not have direct contact with the people they are protecting. But for a group of Airmen at the Sather Air Base located in Baghdad they have finally been able to interact and link with some faces in their operation that they have worked to save. Over the last several months’ members of the Air Force units stationed at Sather Air Base have been venturing out from the Air base. They take with them supplies, and medical supplies, as well as food water and in some cases toys for the children. Are you interested in an exciting career in the Military? See if you qualify. Click Here Now! The citizens and native Iraqi people near Radwinya Palace have been very receptive to their support, and they greet the airmen with smiles and open arms. The trust has been hard fought, and they are excited to see the airmen with whom they interact. The humanitarian efforts have worked to support and assist the overall relationship between the coalition and the local citizens.
