Inexpensive Lodging Military Benefits

When a person is serving in the Military there are sometimes benefits that occur that are not well known, or are not taken advantage of because Servicemembers are not aware of them. As Servicemembers travel for either a new duty station or for private reasons, they can at times find lodging and travel arrangements more inexpensively than is otherwise possible. Sometimes military Servicemembers can obtain lodging for at little as $30 dollars a night, in clean reasonably nice rooms.

Rarely can people traveling around the United States find lodging for less than $50 dollars, but even when inexpensive lodging can be obtained it is often in situations of unclean or otherwise poor condition lodging. But in the case of military Servicemembers, lodging is often given at discount rates because of their time and service in the military. It is a benefit that companies and hotel firms across the country offer to help show their appreciation for the service and sacrifice that military Servicemembers make. Many Servicemembers travel and with the discount that they receive when staying in lodging often allows them to upgrade to a larger room, or sometimes even a suite with the savings they realize. These suites often contain other amenities such as whirlpools or Jacuzzi pools. But staying in civilian hotels are not the only opportunities for military Servicemembers to save money.

Military Hotels- Military hotels are just that, hotels or motels that are owned and operated by the United States military. They are especially prevalent overseas, but there is military only lodging found on military installations also across the United States. Military Hotels will vary with what they look like or appear on the exterior, but on the inside they resemble pretty much every other motel or hotel that exists. Military hotels will often have a kitchenette or family type lodging, to help the Servicemember save information by being able to cook food for themselves rather than having to rely on restaurant food. Sometimes this will involve sharing a kitchen area with another family or traveling Servicemember. This type of privilege is often only $25-$40 dollars, and is a great benefit available to active duty and mobilized reserve Servicemember.

There are also different types of military only entertainment lodging that is present. Facilities such as Disney World, and other entertainment venues have military only lodging opportunities that are not available to the general public, but are reserved for military only lodging purposes.
