Refurbished Pool Finished By Coalition

Baghdad Receives Pool In Time For Summer

Citizens of the Al Jadida area in the east part of Baghdad have received a new pool. The pool is a refurbished city pool that has been fixed and renovated by members of the coalition and given back to the citizens just in time for the summertime use.

It was done just in time. Soldiers from the 10th Mountain division, 4th Brigade combat team is working to open three area pools in the Baghdad Region. The Al Jadida pool is the first to be opened and will serve to be a showcase for what is possible when citizens work closely with members of the Iraqi security forces and with coalition forces. It is a meaningful step toward declaring the Baghdad region free from criminals and insurgency Al Qaeda elements.
