Coalition Supplies 1000 New M114 Armored Vehicles As the Iraqi Forces have taken over the security of the Iraqi nation, step by step one of the biggest issues has been finding the proper equipment. One of the biggest helps is the equipment supplied by the coalition and its partners. The Iraqi Army and National Police as well as other security services working in Iraq have recently been provided with 1000 new Humvee security and anti terrorism vehicles. This has been part of an ongoing effort to assist and support the Iraqi Security forces. Not only do the US Army and the Coalition work to provide M-114 specially armored Humvee vehicles to the Iraqi Security forces, but they also help them by teaching and instructing them how to drive them. Piloting a Humvee is a unique experience, and it is something that could otherwise be overlooked. The size, shape and configuration of a M-114 Humvee makes it ideal for the purposes that the Iraqi Army and security forces require it to perform, but learning to drive a Humvee can be an experience. It is more complicated and larger than a jeep, and is different than piloting or driving a lot of the vehicles that are typical in the Iraqi Armed Forces or Security division. Are you interested in an exciting career in the Military? See if you qualify. Click Here Now! All of the different Humvees that were provided to the Iraqi forces were previously used by Coalition soldiers in Iraqi. Most of them were shipped to Iraq as part of the recent “surge” and as troop levels are slowly being reduced they are then sold to the Iraqi’s through the foreign vehicle military sales program. They are inspected, refurbished, and painted with the colors of the Iraqi Service that will use them.
