The Veterans of Foreign Wars is a direct organization that supports both local veterans issues and nationwide organizational efforts in military Veterans issues. Veterans need assistance and help in application for services with the Veterans Administration and Federal Government services. The services and medications that are made available to veterans is free or low cost, depending on the situation. There are a number of medical programs and supplementary care programs that are available to veterans. The VFW sponsors meetings and clinics to help individual Veterans to sign up for services that they qualify for.
