Medical Military Vet Assistant Careers

The United States Military is known for their medical personnel, but lesser known are the military personnel that supports and cares for animals as an Army Servicemember. The Army animal medical corps works to provide for the health and welfare, and medical support of different animals in service to the United States Army, as well as assisting to give medical aid and care to other animals in service to the Federal Government. Animals such as government owned ceremonial animals, patrol dogs, horses, sea mammals, Army sled dogs, and a wide variety of other federal government animals. All of these animals need regular supportive medical care, care, feeding, and support. Serving in the US Army as a Veterinary assistant is a rewarding and intensive career choice. The job of providing medical support to Army Veterinarians, and the animals supported and being tended and their needs met can these animals keep working as hard as they do for the Army. US Army animal medical care specialists administer medication by direction, keep records regarding treatment and animal care, assist in surgery and intensive medical animal care, and work closely under direct supervision of an Army Veterinarian. Working closely with Army Veterinarians, the Army military Veterinary assistant is a position well suited to anyone that loves animals and enjoys being involved in their care and positive support. A member of the Army Veterinary support staff works closely with other Servicemembers and Veterinarians, serving their country in providing direct supportive animal care. A Medical Animal Care specialist can perform quite a variety of duties. They are directly responsible for caring for government animals, and they are required to perform a wide variety of management, direct animal care, and assisting in the sanitary and health needs of Army service animals. Animal Medical Care specialists in the Army calculate and administer medication, assist in surgery on animals, and provide specific animal care by direction of Army Veterinarians. i am currently studying up to be a Veterinary assistant by the time i graduate high school.
this info was very helpful now i am seriously thinking about getting my VETERINARY license by going through the Military. is there any other helpful site i can get info about this from?
