Working to identify what you want to do in life is an important issue. Many people do not know if they want to go to school, and they wind up setting up a college path without having a direct goal or place they want to get to. After that then the next step is to decide where you want to attend. There are schools that are very friendly and open to your attending them. There are many options in finding the degree that is right for your goals and for your intended career. The secret is to find the school that is what you want. You will have a lot of opportunities available to visit different schools if you want to. There are literally hundreds, perhaps thousands of schools that could be considered military friendly, and you can find out a lot of information about schools on the Internet. Most schools are open and encouraging, but some schools make the process a lot easier and therefore are more military friendly. There are some different issues that you should keep in mind when you are getting ready to select a school. You should think about different issues such as: what is the ability to transfer credits, and their school and accreditation factor? What is the policy for DANTE and CLEP testing credits, how does the cost of tuition stack up for them compared to other institutions about the same population and size? And what are their polices for ACE and Military credits (if you are prior military). Depending on if you have a lot or a little credit type experience, you may not weigh this as much as the other questions. It is a good idea to have a list of questions about things you wish to know. Asking smart questions is as simple as being organized. Most of your questions will likely fall into four general areas- Fees and Tuition, General Course information, Non Traditional Credit Opportunities, and the schools Accreditation and associations with other schools. Are you interested in an exciting career in the Military? See if you qualify. Click Here Now! As you contact different schools, keep in mind your own personal financial bottom line. Special fees are like lab fees, administration fees, or any other fees in addition to tuition that you are required to pay. You can often find schools that have all special fees included.
