Washington D.C.
The Nasiriyah Police Force is focusing on efforts to interrupt and interfere with numerous networks of insurgent extremists known to manufacture and place bombs.

These groups of bomb manufacturers are most likely directly responsible for several roadside bomb incidents in recent months, and the rise of formed explosive projectiles used against Iraqi, U.S. and coalition forces.  One of the two bomb makers is thought to be a company commander and facilitator in the extremist network.

The other person that was the target of the raid is known to be a key person in the local bomb-making network.  The fruit of his labor has been linked to over eight different attacks in the area between April and October.

In other news, it was revealed that the plans to construct a temporary bridge are moving ahead at full speed.  The temporary bridge is slated to replace the former Qayyarah Bridge, which became badly damaged by an insurgent bombing on November 23rd.  The definite plans for the bridge construction are being formulated by the Iraqi provincial government, and are seen by all as an item of high priority.

Recent news, a bomb was found strapped to a vehicle by Iraqi and coalition troops yesterday.   The bomb was discovered on a vehicle near the home of Iraqi Representative Adnan al Dulaimi.  In the search for the bomb suspect, over forty suspected members of the insurgency and criminals were questioned over the course of the operation.
