Less Explosive IED’s Found By Engineers

Combat Marines Finding Less And Less Explosive Caches Piercing lights, sirens and sudden light is one of the best effects that a house to house surprise search features. The members of the Iraq Security Forces are experts as this type of maneuver, and they have been taught by the Coalition. As the number of house to house searches that are required goes down, so do the number of explosive caches and issues. The members of the clearance teams that associate with the Iraqi Security Forces are repeating different procedures as they move from one area to another but there is simply not as many IED or explosives to be found. The Marines and Army of the Coalition, along with the Iraq Security Forces in the lead conducted an all night street sweep July 23rd in the city of Karma, Iraq. Much to the surprise of everyone, the street sweep turned up very few explosives, and only two unknown subjects that were both held for questioning. Both were later cleared as visitors from outside the area. The region around Fallujah has became one of the safest of any in Iraq, and it has been a source of pride, both for the Iraq security forces as much as a proud day also for the Coalition.
