Neighborhood Youth Conference Prevents Issues
The community and members of the Iraqi Security Forces have worked hard in recent months to create a city intramural league, and youth community organization in the Ramadi area. The Ramadi Youth Conference is now one more option for youth to participate in different positive and healthy activities.
About 3,000 children of school age are able to participate in the city’s youth conference, and it is a group that has a great deal of potential.
The members of the Embedded PRT – Ramadi, and members of the 9th Marine Corps Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 1, and other members of the Coalition have given their full support to the new youth conference and youth sports teams.
The Ramadi Youth conference will be able to deal with the community children, as well as creating opportunities for the whole family to join in healthy sports and community activities. This has included the South Ramadi indoor Olympic gym, which has sponsored different sports opportunities.
Sports and Education go hand in hand, and it is an important step in teaching children how to interact successfully with the world. The Future of Iraq partly depends on the different lessons that the youth of Iraq learn at the current time, and they are learning good lessons.
