Baghdad Native Enlists In United States Air Force Sometimes the best way you can show your support is to join the force working to defend your country. Air Force Airman 1st Class Murad Mohiadeen was born in Iraq 20 years ago and then moved to America in 1990. He was two years old when he moved to America with his family. Since emigrating in 1990, his family has worked hard and enjoyed the freedom in the United States. It was worth the effort, as his family settled in Los Angeles for many years, and then later moved to Portland Oregon. When the United States began Operation Enduring freedom in March 2003 Murad’s parents enlisted, and became language linguists for the Army. After the war kicked off, both of his parents gave to their adopted country by serving as interpreters and both parents were stationed at Joint Base Balad in Iraqi for several months. Later, Murad decided he wanted to participate also, so he joined the Air Force, and has recently been stationed in Iraq. Murad is a Muslim, and believes that the actions of terrorists are not in accordance with what true believers adhere to. Are you interested in an exciting career in the Military? See if you qualify. Click Here Now! He joined the Air Force 18 months ago to get a college education, to travel but also to join his parents in giving back to the country that has been his adopted home.
