Pneudraulics Army Aircraft Repair Careers

Dealing with Army Aircraft repair is a challenging and rewarding military career. The Army Aircraft Hydraulics and Pneumatics Repair person works on some of the most advanced aircraft and equipment in the world. Two different fields, hydraulics and pneumatics are combined into the Aircraft repair specialty called Pneudraulics. Working as a Pneudraulics Aircraft Repair person in the Army is a field where you will be working to keep Army aviation assets repaired and able to perform military missions. You will work to support and keep Army aviation assets repaired and able to perform their missions and to maintain a high state of military readiness. The Army Aircraft Pneudraulics repair crew maintains aviation aircraft and makes sure that each different type of Aircraft is in top running condition. It is their responsibility to make sure that airframes and aircraft are on task and able to perform their missions successfully. The Army Aircraft Pneudraulics repairperson sees to it personally that the aircraft and airframes under their charge are operational, inspected, and ready to fly. The repairer is responsible for supervision and maintenance, and keeping the pneumatics and hydraulics on various Army aviation assets are in top shape and peak running order. You will learn about basic electrical and mechanical systems. You will work to perform different tasks including: maintaining and using bench stock repair items, remove and repair different hydraulic and pneumatic aircraft systems needing repair, constructing tubes and hoses, and performing various special and common tool equipment maintenance. This is a highly specialized skill field, where there is always a shortage of qualified candidates. You will deal with a variety of issues, including repair and disassembly of engines and their sub systems, and the repair of airframe parts, fiberglass, aluminum, steel and composite airframes and their coverings. You will attend 9 weeks of combat basic training to enter into the Army. After that you will advance to 11 weeks of training in depth Army Aircraft Pneudraulics repair. You will be prized in the civilian field of aviation as a mechanic, and shop crew person for airlines, smaller aviation companies, as well as other various civilian jobs.
