Conference Held In Support Of ISF Forces

Leaders Meet To Discuss How To Grow And Support Iraqi Forces

The best way to tell that the surge has been successful, and that the Coalition has done well in Iraqi is the current effort by the leaders of the Government of Iraq and also the Coalition to discuss the future of security in the region.

Members of the Iraqi Security forces, Iraqi government officials and leaders from the coalition met for a one-day conference on August 20th. They met to discuss the future of forces in Iraq, both from the coalition perspective and from the view of the Iraqi government.

The members of the government in Iraq knows that they need the support of the coalition in managing and growth, this is typical anytime there is a battle for the hearts and minds of an entire nation.

The Nation of Iraqi is growing more and more confident, and they are able to verbalize what they wish, and it has been a good and fruitful decision to draw up a statement of military forces agreement. This agreement will spell out specifically what the responsibilities of any coalition forces located in Iraq will consist of.

In addition, the leaders met to discuss the best ways to support and give encouragement to the Iraqi Security Forces. The ISF forces have done an excellent job over the last 8 weeks as they assume responsibility for more and more regions that the Coalition has been responsible for up until recently.
