Coalition Troops Hold Ten on Charges
Baghdad, IraqÂ
Coalition troops moved in and held for questioning ten men that they suspect are part of an ongoing terror network in the area with links to Al-Qaeda Wednesday.
One of the individuals that were captured is believed involved in propaganda and terrorist Media efforts. The man is known to have been associated with foreign terrorist groups present in the Baghdad area.
The area the men were seized in is located in North and Central Iraq.
Along with the seizure the soldiers found a large amount of terror related propaganda on the site.
Other Coalition soldiers operating in an area to the north captured a different individual that is wanted in regards to car bombing and weapons facilitation charges. This individual has also known to have been operating in Southern Belt Iraqi Terror operations.
Ground Coalitions Forces in the Al-Hadid area captured and held a suspected Terror individual wanted for various charges related to the terrorist media cell in the Diyala province.
In Mosul and Samarra regions, other U.S. and Coalition Forces detain and questioned seven other suspected terrorist individuals involved in IED and explosive attacks.
Major Winfield Danielson, MNF-1 spokesperson said “Coalition Operation in the region is steadily chipping away at the different Al-Qaeda operations here in Iraq. Pressure will continue toward these terrorists who are conducting these brutal attacks until Al-Qaeda itself will be unable to recoverâ€
Various other terrorists’ leaders have been captured held and questioned by Coalition Forces in the last several weeks.  Overall much progress has been made.
