Marines Search For Insurgents And Terrorists

Hard Work Yields Results For Joint Forces

The efforts to search for Insurgents and terrorists inside of Iraq continue, and while it has slowed down due to most of the insurgents fleeing the region, the efforts continue. The joint Coalition and Iraqi Security forces have been able to work together cooperatively, and while the majority of security is being maintained by the Iraqi Security Forces, the Coalition still is on scene, lending a hand when asked.

Recently, Marines located near Fallujah participated in a number of raids that were performed by the Iraqi Security Forces. Both house-to-house inspections were performed, as well as a high presence in the streets. Both members of the coalition and the ISF forces have worked hard to make sure that insurgents do not get a toehold in the region.

Fallujah has featured some of the worst amount of fighting in the whole of Iraq, and it is a statement of the success that as a rule most of the security has been successful by the Iraqi Security Forces.

The reaction that the Coalition and ISF forces receive from the citizens has increased. Most of the citizens are pleased when the security forces come to their homes, because they know that it will result in less terror, and less members of the insurgency threatening them and their families.
