Kindergarten And Primary School Established There are a number of different schools that have been rebuilt and refurbished in the region of She Shon Village. Two schools, a primary school and Kindergarten have been especially paid attention to by members of the coalition, and they recently participated in a grand opening ceremony. Soldiers and military leaders from the 415th Civil Affairs Brigade have worked with members of the Iraqi Security Forces, and local Iraqi contractors. The project is now complete, and the schools opened to a ribbon cutting ceremony held on August 21st. “We are very glad and thankful for all the help in this project,” said Fatema Rhady. Miss Rhady is the headmistress and principal of the Kindergarten that received the construction assistance. More and more construction projects are beginning to occur, as the citizens of Iraq begin to request assistance from the Coalition. The Iraqi contractors worked enthusiastically to perform most of the construction work, with the funding and supplies being provided by the Coalition. The repairs of the two schools took just over 6 weeks to complete, and the coalition interviewed and vetted local Iraq contractors to perform the actual work. The two schools received new bathrooms, windows, paint and doors, and there is now a new playground between the two schools. Are you interested in an exciting career in the Military? See if you qualify. Click Here Now! The flow of money to the contractors set up a positive healthy relationship that will likely resort in additional schools being reconstructed.
