The new health care center will additionally feature an X ray facility, a dental care area, maternity facilities for new mothers, and a totally modern fire prevention and alarm system.
Much of the older construction in Iraq does not have sprinklers or fire alarm provisions, so new construction often has the latest in fire prevention construction and the latest in fire alarm provisions.
The other health care facility in Basrah will now be able to breathe a sigh of relief, and it will not have to work near as hard to provide for the people in Basrah.
