Troops Aid Tri Cities Medical Engagement

City Council Supports Medical Operations

Three local cities in Iraq, Jiko, Sattack, and Mukalan were the beneficiaries of a local medical engagement held by the coalition. This medical engagement for the Tri Cities was different because this one was requested and planned by officials from the three cities.

This is one of the best examples of how well the Iraq government has been working in gradually assuming the security and responsibility for their people. While it has not been perfect, the government of Iraq, along with the local government has been working hard to take charge.

Giving treatment to their people is key to a free society, and the real critical elements are taking care fully the needs of the children. The health problems if treated pro actively will do more than anything else to keep things moving forward proactively for Iraq.

Medical personnel from two different coalition medical units were used effectively to treat Iraqi citizens at the medical engagement, but the whole engagement was scheduled, arranged and managed by the local government of the Tri Cities.
