Women Hold Will Be Holding New Roles And Direction
One of the signs that things are changing for the better is the different social changes in Iraq. Women have traditionally been unable to work in certain jobs, in the military, in the police, and in other government jobs.
This is changing in many ways. The women of Iraq are now beginning to break into a variety of different jobs and careers. The members of different governing boards made of men have been meeting to discuss including women in different jobs, such as jobs in Intelligence, and in the military.
Army Brigadier General Mary Legere is the MNF director of Iraqi Intelligence, and she will be working with different female members of the Iraqi community who are willing to join and participate in the Iraqi National Intelligence scene.
“We are amazed and thankful for your willingness to break the ice, and be one of the first to participate as women in Iraqi Intelligence matters,” said General Legere.

Legere and five other women are members of a panel that has been meeting with different male government members, and others to discuss the challenges that women face and how they can participate in military intelligence. Some of the operatives that have served in secret over the years have been women, but up till now there are not women that have had a chance to serve openly.
