Coalition Trains Iraqi Border Control

Agents Used To Train Iraqi Trainers And Soldiers

Members of the US Coalition forces are being used to train Iraqi Soldiers in issues of border control. The United States Border transition team is being used to train Iraq soldiers in the different types of threats that will be found at different guard posts, border stations, and other border regions.

The Iraqi Border Control Trainees will be taught weapons handling, how to use and disassemble AK 47 weapons, crowd control, diplomacy, tact, and how to deal with search and seizure. They will be taught literally everything possible and everything that the Coalition USA border trainers can envision in the area of border control.

The course will teach them staff and maintenance functions, and how to manage soldiers as well. The troops that the Coalition are training will train other Iraqi Soldiers, so they will be able to equip and maintain their own borders.

It is a classic case of the US Training the trainers, and it has been successful so far. Night Time patrols, as well as a number of other specialized types of training are being engaged in.
