Coalition Helps Iraqi Company Gain Industrial Presence
One of the best things that nation that is coming back from a severe repression in its society such as happened with Saddam Hussein can do it aggressively market its products and services. The coalition has been working hard in its different civil affairs units to identify and assist different groups and businesses in Iraq with their industrial rebirth.
Recently in Diyala there was a group of Iraqi’s that created a electrical company, Diyala Electric Industries, and they required a number of different types of equipment to meet its production demand.
The type of machines they needed are necessary to produce transformers, which are highly in demand to help create power networks across Iraq. The demand for the services and transformers that Diyala Electrical Industries features far outstrips the ability they have to produce transformers.
The Coalition helped provide wire cutting and gas cutting machines, one of each recently that will increase the number of transformers that Diyala Electric is able to produce. The company has needed these machines for months now, but it was not until the coalition stepped in that they were able to obtain such equipment.
