Congenital Heart Failure Aided By Soldiers Assistance
The number of different medical procedures that are available to citizens of Iraq used to be strictly limited, there was not any availability for the average Iraqi citizen to access quality health care.
The overall availability of health care in Iraq is still majorly limited, but at times there are opportunities for the coalition to assist in critical care. Recently, during a foot patrol in the area near Forward Operating Base Kalsu, soldiers noticed a little girl that appeared to be struggling.
She was an apparent happy go lucky little girl, but her speech was faint and forced, and her lips were blue, and her breathing very labored. Soldiers brought their medic to her, and he did a quick cursory exam, and determined that the little girl was not getting enough oxygen.
Rawain is a 5 year old Iraqi little girl, and her parents knew something was wrong, but were at a lost to know how to deal with it. Rawain was rushed to the field hospital, where it was determined that Rawain is suffering from a congenital heart defect.

Now, the soldiers and medical staff of the coalition are working with the parents of Rawain to try and raise funds. Money is being donated, to support the surgery that Rawain needs to fix her heart condition. When enough is donated, Rawain will go to the USA for surgery, to repair her heart.
