In past years you have to print something out, or you have to obtain a paper-based application, and wait for your application to be processed. After you have submitted your application, you should immediately begin to contact schools. You can research a lot about most colleges and universities using the Internet, and if you are in school as a junior or senior you can access your school guidance counselor for college information.

Now, you can file online, and if you have an email you can register for and receive an electronic pin number. With that electronic pin number you can sign your application electronically, and then you are able to submit it as a packet.
