More Than 60 Citizens Show Up To Apply For Police Jobs The job of Police Officer in Iraqi has become one of the most popular endeavors in the country. Recently when there was a recruiting drive held at Camp Ellis near the town of Barwanah, there were nearly 60 civilians that waited in line for up to four hours for the chance to apply for police jobs. The Iraqi Police is virtually newcomers to this village, a city of about 20,000 people, but the community and the police seem to be coexisting rather well at least so far. The police have been given training in how to respect and observe the human rights of the citizens, and so the respect and admiration of the different members of the community has slowly been gained. The police in Iraq are no longer seen as the enemy, in fact the usage of different tactics such as soccer tournaments and the like have helped strike down the barriers that previously prevented the members of the police from getting close to the community. Find the Military Career right for YOU ! Click here for more Information. Of the 60 citizens, nearly 49 were eventually deemed to be good candidates, and were able to advance to the next level of application. The second level involves a background check and interview process, which givens the current police a chance to examine the candidates for suitability, and also gives the candidates the chance to get to know the police a little bit also.
